The 2022 Green Hospital Scorecard Awards were announced Wednesday December 13th, at virtual award presentations held by the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care. These award were made possible with the support of our partner Health Canada and our award sponsors Trane, Shift Energy, Roche, Ecotex, GE Healthcare and Better Battery.

Recognition through the Green Hospital Scorecard Awards is predicated upon the results of a completed Green Hospital Scorecard (GHS) survey, a comprehensive ‘Made in Canada’ health care benchmarking tool that measures hospitals’ performance in a number of crucial categories. This year’s awards honoured the top performing Canadian hospitals in Energy, Water, Waste, Leadership and Pollution Prevention categories. The hospitals with the best overall scores in their respective peer groups receive the Green Hospital of the Year Award. This year’s winners are:
