James Bunting is a founding partner of Tyr LLP, known for his bold approach as a trial lawyer representing clients on high-stakes commercial disputes, class actions, securities matters, and sport-related litigation. He was awarded the 2016 Lexpert Zenith Award for Diversity & Inclusion for his pro bono work with global athletes, including representing Olympic champion Caster Semenya, and served as Athlete Ombudsperson to the Canadian Olympic Committee during the Rio Olympics.
