Dr. Sean Christie is a practicing neurosurgeon and academic leader who serves as a Professor and Head of the Division of Neurosurgery at Dalhousie University. Dr. Sean Christie is a founding partner of CASCADES and co-founder of the Centre for Planetary Health & Sustainable Care. He began focusing on health care’s environmental impact in the late 2010s and works to raise awareness of the sector’s greenhouse gas footprint, which by some estimates rivals that of entire industrialized nations.
