Deveney Bazinet – Manager, Health Systems Decarbonization & Adaptation

Deveney has over 10 years of experience in project management, partnership building, and action-oriented research in the non-profit sector. During her career, she has led many innovative, multi-stakeholders projects and programs, including those focused on municipal climate action, decarbonization of the built environment, and sustainable community development. 

She holds a Master of Public Administration in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value from University College London, where her studies centered on climate policy design, public sector innovation, and systems change. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Environment Studies from McGill University.

At the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care, Deveney brings a strong commitment to inclusive, community-led climate action. She supports two of the Coalition’s projects, spanning both climate mitigation and adaptation: Decarbonization in Action: Implementing Climate Solutions at Canadian Hospitals, leading communications and community engagement to support hospital decarbonization initiatives; and Low-Carbon Heat-Health Solutions in Care Settings, supporting work on heat-health mitigation for vulnerable populations in care settings.
