Dr. Ann Dale is an award-winning professor and former director of the School of Environment and Sustainability at Royal Roads University, where she held the institution’s first Canada Research Chair in sustainable community development. Her book, At the Edge: Sustainable Development in the 21st Century, received the 2001 Policy Research Initiative Award for Outstanding Research Contribution to Public Policy, and she led MC3, a major climate change adaptation and mitigation research project in British Columbia. Her prominent research in climate change mitigation and public policy has earned her national recognition, including the Molson Prize for the Social Sciences and appointment as a Trudeau Fellow.
